This workshop will help you understand what is happening in the body and how the change in hormone levels is causing the undesirable effects in your body and mind - knowledge is power & there is loads you can do to help...

From night sweats to foggy brain (to name a few - there are over 35 symptoms!) yoga can ease these, sometimes, deliberating symptoms.

It's not a magic pill, but in our time together, you will learn how you can make a world of difference to your experience of menopause through yoga practice, good nutrition and lifestyle.

Our time together will be fun as I share my funny menopause stories but also packed full of great advice and tips to guide you through this transitional period in your life, including some exercises to help strengthen your pelvic floor & combat hot flushes in your asana practice (details below)

This day is for anyone who has the peri menopause or menopause in their life, those who have been through it and those interested in how yoga can help with hormonal changes.

- other things you can expect from this wonderful workshop to guide through the fog are;

To gain some understanding of what is happening with your body.

  • Pranayama - Breathing Techniques

  • Vinyassa Yoga Practice -

    Which is dynamic and synchronises breath with a flow of a series of yoga poses. - don't worry if you haven't practiced before Ive got your back with modifications galore!

  • Restorative and Yoga Nidra -

    Put on a warm top and unwind and relax with a restorative pose followed by a calming beautiful yogic sleep

    Again don’t worry if meditation is new to you, you will just need to lay back & listen to my voice as you relax into a blissful state of calm. It involves simple visualisation to move through sleeping and waking states of consciousness. Benefits include better sleep, stress management, peace of mind and regeneration, alleviate menopause symptoms

Along the way you will learn techniques to support you daily through symptoms, eg. Hot flushes, night sweats and anxiety.

You will benefit from the specific yoga poses for menopause, that I will weave into your practice, and you will learn why, and how, they help.

All you need is:

  • Comfortable clothes, I suggest you have a warm top to put on for Yoga Nidra.

  • Yoga Mat (towel) Blanket, Cushions or Pillow

  • Bolster - I will send a short video of how to make one (no sewing needed).

  • A journal or note book, if you’d like to take any notes

  • & of course your beautiful self

Escape to a quiet room in your home, lock the door and gift yourself space, time, self love and yoga! The more you give your self this time the more you can carry on giving to others.
